Our Thesis

Early capital, from operators who've done it before.

ARNA Global is a Pre-Seed and Seed investor for founders building enduring technology companies. We write first checks between $50K and $500K, work alongside the teams we back, and stay engaged long after the check is sent.

01 / Early capital

First checks, sized to matter.

Pre-Seed and Seed checks of $50K to $500K. We move quickly when we have strong conviction, and invest cleanly alongside a lead investor when we are not leading the round ourselves.

02 / Operating experience

We have built the thing.

Every member of our team has shipped products, hired teams, and run go-to-market before writing checks. That translates into practical help founders can actually use.

03 / Strategic access

Warm intros that actually move the needle.

We open doors to customers, follow-on investors, and industry partners across the markets our portfolio operates in. Every introduction is one we make personally, to people we already know.

What we look for

Signals that get our attention.

Four things we look for in every conversation. When they line up, we move quickly.

01

Founder-market fit

We back founders with an earned, hard-won understanding of the problem they are solving. Not textbook research, but lived experience.

02

A real problem

We look for problems that are acute, expensive, or unavoidable for the buyer. Painkillers, not vitamins.

03

Unfair advantage

We look for technical insight, distribution, timing, or team composition that a competitor cannot easily replicate.

04

Capital efficiency

We look for plans that turn each dollar into disproportionate progress. Not every great company needs to raise a lot of capital, ever.

Beyond Capital

How we work with founders after the check is sent.

Capital is the easy part. Every partner rolls up their sleeves on the work that actually shifts a company's trajectory: strategy, product, go-to-market, hiring, and the introductions that turn into revenue and follow-on capital.

01Strategic AdvisoryBoard-level counsel through the founder decisions that carry the most weight and the least reversibility.
02Product & Go-to-Market StrategyPositioning, pricing, and the go-to-market shape that fits your product and buyer, not a template.
03Business DevelopmentSourcing first customers, design partners, and commercial partnerships across our network.
04Operational SupportHiring plans, financial planning, and the infrastructure decisions that quietly determine outcomes.
05Fundraising StrategyRound shape, story, investor selection, and the run-up work that turns a raise from stressful to routine.
06Global Market AccessWarm entry points across the markets our portfolio already operates in, on four countries and three continents.
07Investor & Industry IntroductionsPersonal introductions to the funds and operators most likely to move the needle for your next stage.
Investment Process

How we work, from intro to term sheet.

A clear, respectful process. We know your time is finite, so we treat it that way.

Step 01

Intro conversation

A 30-minute call to understand the company, the founder, and the specific problem. Send a short note and a deck or a link.

Step 02

Deeper dive

Follow-up sessions with the team, technical review where relevant, and a handful of reference calls. We keep it lean.

Step 03

Decision

A clear yes or no within two to three weeks of the first call. If it is a no, you get the honest reason, not a diplomatic one.

Step 04

Partnership

Once documents are signed and the check is sent, the real work begins. We are engaged from day one, and available on a Sunday when it matters.

Focus Areas

Where we spend our time.

Eight sectors we know well, all being rewired by a new generation of founders. We want to be the first call for the people building in these areas, anywhere in the world.

01
Deep tech & frontier hardware
Novel materials, propulsion, power, and the enabling technologies that the next generation of hard-tech industries will run on.
02
Space & satellite
Small-satellite platforms, on-orbit services, and the software and data infrastructure that turn a constellation into a business.
03
Defense & dual-use
Dual-use systems for a more contested world: sensing, autonomy, communications, and the tools that keep national capability sovereign.
04
Media & content
International media, independent journalism, and the platforms that shape how underrepresented stories reach a global audience.
05
MedTech & health
Diagnostics, therapeutics infrastructure, and the software layer rebuilding how care is delivered and measured.
06
AgriTech & food systems
Precision agriculture, food security, and the operational software rebuilding how food gets from field to shelf.
07
Retail & consumer
Modern commerce, brand infrastructure, and the technology reshaping how consumers discover, buy, and interact with products.
08
Applied AI & enterprise software
AI-native software where the model is the product, and vertical enterprise tooling powering the industries above.
Approach

A quiet firm, by design.

ARNA Global is an operator-led early-stage investment firm. We write Pre-Seed and Seed checks of $50K to $500K into companies built to last.

We are a small, deliberately international team. Our portfolio spans eight companies across four countries and three continents. Every investment is a decision we make together, and every founder gets our full attention.

If you are building something others think is too early, too hard, or too strange, that is exactly when we would like to hear from you.

"We back the founders the market has decided are too early. History is written by the ones who were right about that."

Founder FAQ

Practical questions, answered plainly.

What stage do you invest in?+
We invest at the Pre-Seed and Seed stages, typically as one of the first institutional checks in a company.
What is your typical check size?+
Our typical first check is $50K to $500K, sized to matter without slowing the round down.
Do you lead rounds?+
Yes, when the situation calls for it. In most rounds we invest alongside a lead investor and contribute from that position.
What geographies do you invest in?+
We invest globally. Our current portfolio spans four countries and three continents, and we actively source across North America, Europe, and Asia.
How quickly do you make decisions?+
Two to three weeks from the first conversation to a clear yes or no. When we have very strong conviction, we move faster.
Do you take board seats?+
We rarely take board seats, preferring to add value without adding governance overhead. Observer roles are more common.
Do you follow on in later rounds?+
Yes, in cases where our follow-on participation adds real value to the round beyond the capital itself.
How should I reach out?+
Email founders@arnaglobal.vc with a short note describing what you are building, why now is the right time, and why you are the person to build it. A deck or a link is welcome, but not required for a first note.
